River Campus, Memorial Art Gallery & Eastman School of Music


University IT Computer Sales has partnered with CS Business Systems, Inc. & Mac Shack, Inc. to provide warranty and non-warranty repair service for customers on the River Campus, at the Memorial Art Gallery, and at the Eastman School of Music.

Labor Rate: The labor rate for non-warranty repairs is $65.00(per hour). There is a non-refundable estimate fee of $65.00 for non-warranty labor. This fee will be applied to the first hour of labor if a repair is completed.

Student Repairs: For security reasons, all student equipment must be dropped off at our Rush Rhees Library store location.

Department Repairs: Department repairs can be performed on-site.

Dell Warranty Repairs: Vitec Solutions has been authorized to provide warranty repair for Dell equipment purchased through University IT Computer Sales. If you purchased your Dell equipment elsewhere, please contact Dell directly at 1-800-234-1490.


URMC/Strong Health Departments


If for any reason you require assistance with your desktop computing devices, contact the ISD Help Desk at 275-3200. The Help Desk will attempt to resolve your problem over the phone. If their resolution attempts are unsuccessful a technician will be dispatched. If for any reason the technician needs to remove the equipment, you should expect a receipt and an indication of when the equipment will be returned.

Non-critical calls can be opened by sending an email to the Help Desk at:

A call ticket will automatically be generated from your email and you will receive an email confirmation. ISD ensures timeliness and accuracy by monitoring this account throughout the day.
